Food Business Operators

When we consider food safety, the enjoyment of a healthy and good meal is just the last stage of a very important process. Our intent is not only to ensure the safety of foods for the consumers, because the food, before being eaten, is produced and commercialized. Food inspections help guarantee that food not suitable for consumption never arrives to our forks, but it’s responsibility of anyone working in the food business, to make sure that what he produces is above all safe for the consumers.   

This area of the website is addressed particularly to enterprises part of the food production chain (from farm-to-fork): farms, abattoirs, shops, restaurants, etc… Our intent is helping people working in the food chain to produce safe and good food, the best way to improve and support the richness of the typical local food products of our region.  

Sections:

• News - for the pubblication of updates on food legislation. An important part of this area deals with the new hygiene package of the Eu Regulations. (In Italian) 

• Publications - dedicated to all the practical information to implement food safety during production (In Italian).

• Notices - the latest information on present emergencies (In Italian).

• Events - a list of events that could interest food business operators (meetings with authorities, commercial expositions, etc...)
